Concrete technology & rc structures lab

The Concrete Technology and Reinforced Concrete Structures Lab was officially established in 2002 to cover both educational and research needs in the following scientific fields:

• Experimental behaviour of concrete materials/members/structures

• Assessment and retrofitting of existing concrete structures

• Design of reinforced concrete structures

• Modeling of reinforced concrete members/structures

However, apart from the above fields, the Lab has the capacity to perform experimental tests on a wider spectrum of structural components, such as steel/aluminum assemblies or composite section members.
